The Good Van started the way all good things do — in a driveway.
Brian was building out vans one by one in his driveway — just him, his tools, and a stubborn love for making something by hand. Then came Johnny, and what began as a one-man setup became a partnership built on trust, vision, and a shared obsession with getting the details right. They called it The Good Van.
From those early days in a dusty Los Alamitos warehouse to the bigger space we now call home, the spirit’s stayed the same: build with care, keep it human, and don’t take shortcuts. Cass joined the team last summer, bringing more creative energy and a fresh set of eyes to the work we do.
We’re still small by choice — just a few people building thoughtful homes on wheels and sharing what we’ve learned along the way. Whether we’re throwing a community event or talking shop over coffee, we’re here to connect, create, and keep doing it the good way.
Meet the Team
-
Founder
I’m a father and husband first, and an entrepreneur second. After years spent behind the lens — shooting surf, moto, and lifestyle content while living and traveling in vans — I knew the idea of a rolling home studio was something worth sharing.

Co-Founder
I’ve always been drawn to building, exploring, and finding freedom beyond a desk job. After building a camper van in 2020, I teamed up with Brian on a collaborative project, and we quickly discovered a shared vision. I’m now co-owner of The Good Van, where we blend design, adventure, and craftsmanship into every build.

College dropout turned multi-millionaire real estate mogul? No… at least not yet.
I’ve been working on cars for as long as I can remember. In 2026, I teamed up with Brian to open Good Van Supply Company after getting tired of working at shops that didn’t really care about their customers or the quality of the work. We wanted to change that , because we do thing a little different around here .

Project Coordinator
After leaving the Midwest in search of a more intentional life, I landed in Southern California and eventually moved into a van full time. Now on my second DIY build, van life has become both my lifestyle and my creative outlet. Fate (and maybe a little good timing) brought me to The Good Van, where I now get to help others take the leap too.
Let’s Talk Vans.
We’ll build a plan and show you how it all works.
